Last spring, API and Kadan announced a partnership to make API’s Radian Laser Tracker series ready for distribution and metrology services to expand coverage to underserved west coast industries. A little over a year later, the team-up has been an unqualified success.

The goal was to reach customers more efficiently, especially in the booming Aerospace and Space Exploration industries, pairing API’s state-of-the-art Radian Laser Tracker Series and Kadan’s history of solution-based metrology services. After switching to API’s equipment from other Laser Tracker manufacturers, Kadan has been able to take their customer service to the next level.

Radian Laser Trackers are the smallest, lightest, most accurate Laser Trackers on the market, offering a truly portable Metrology tool with CMM-level accuracy. And Radian’s simple setup, fast warm-up time, and ease of use has allowed Kadan to streamline jobs and save their customers valuable time and cost.

“Our expert team is faster and better than ever with Radian Trackers,” says Kody Sjoberg, M.E. & Lead Consultant for Kadan Consultants. “And it isn’t just for simple, everyday jobs. We’re pushing the limits of how Trackers are used. We did fault analysis in Death Valley after an earthquake at night, measuring over 200ft., and Radian was still accurate to API’s promised specs.”

“We couldn’t be prouder of the work Kadan is doing with our Radian Trackers,” says Joe Bioty, President of API. “The manufacturing paradigm requires fast, efficient dimensional metrology solutions, and API and Kadan are delivering exactly that across the West Coast.”

API and Kadan offer a combined five decades of dedicated experience in portable Laser Tracker metrology. Their service technicians have expertise in industries from Aerospace and Defense to Shipbuilding and are knowledgeable in every step of the process from running Laser Trackers and machines to programming, setup and operations. And with Radian, their team has more flexibility than ever, mounting the Tracker in all orientations to take measurements in places people normally can’t get to.

Kadan is available for service work and Radian Tracker sales on demand.
